The Walt Disney Company Announces $1 Million Commitment to UNCF

The Walt Disney Company recently announced a $1 million donation to the UNCF (United Negro College Fund), the leading minority scholarship organization.
This donation will help outstanding African American students by giving them the tools they needs to achieve their goals.
The Walt Disney Company UNCF Corporate Scholars Program offers financial assistance to high-achieving African American students in underserved communities.

University of Central Florida to Host the 10th Annual MEAC/SWAC Challenge Presented by Disney

The University of Central Florida is hosting the 10th annual MEAC/SWAC Challenge Presented by Disney at the Bright House Networks Stadium on August 31.
This Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) football matchup will feature the North Carolina A&T Aggies from the Mid-Easter Athletic Conference (MEAC) and the Alabama A&M Bulldogs of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC).

Matchups Announced for the 2014 MEAC/SWAC Challenge Presented by Disney

Disney has announced the teams for the 10th annual MEAC/SWAC Challenge.
North Carolina A&T and Alabama A&M – two Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) –  are scheduled to face off during the annual celebration of diversity, higher education, and football.
The event has been sponsored by Disney for the last seven years as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to diversity and community.
The teams represent the Mideastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) and the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC).
