Disney Interactive’s ‘Disney Animated’ Named Apple’s iPad App of the Year

For the first time ever, a Disney app was named Apple’s iPad App of the Year.
Disney Animated was selected as the top app out of the 100,000 iPad apps that were launched in 2013.

It’s Official – ‘Disney Infinity’ Launches in Stores Nationwide

After months of waiting, it’s finally here – Disney Infinity has launched nationwide and is now available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS.
The game was first announced in January of this year and since then fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of this new Disney game.

ABC Debuting Live Streaming Television App

The first live streaming television mobile app – Watch ABC – is being launched by Disney’s ABC network to select markets starting this week.
Viewers in New York City and Philadelphia can try the app for free until the end of June, and after that date it will be available to paying customers of certain cable and satellite providers including AT&T U-Verse, Comcast, Cablevision, Cox Communications, Midcontinent Communications, and Charter. ‘My Disney Experience’ App Now Available for Download

Disney’s new My Disney Experience app is now available for download. This new app promises features and technology previously unavailable on any Disney park touring app. Coupled with the new wi-fi availability at the Magic Kingdom, this is another step in the NextGen direction for Disney.

Disney to Launch New NextGen Apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android

Disney will be launching a new NextGen application to be used by visitors to Walt Disney World Resort. The app will be called My Disney Experience and will be available for the iPhone, iPad, and Android systems.
The app is expected to replace the current Disney Parks mobile application Mobile Magic in early 2013. Disney’s Playdom Launches Popular Facebook Game on iPad

Today, Disney’s Playdom will be launching Gardens of Time, their popular Facebook application, on the iPad.
This marks a huge move for Playdom, as Gardens of Time is the most successful Facebook game created by the company. Since its launch in April, the game has taken players by storm – currently, there are 9.1 million monthly active users and 2.1 million daily active users.
