Check Out the First Look at the Tropical Hideaway in Disneyland

The Tropical Hideaway is opening soon at Disneyland and we’ve got a first look and sneak peek today!
This new spot, located in Adventureland along the Jungle Cruise waterfront will be a destination for guests to enjoy eats from around the world.
Menu items will include: Spiced Vegetable Bao, Kaffir Lime Chicken Bao, Bulgogi Beef Bao, Sweet Pineapple Lumpia, and more.
And of course, Dole Whip is also on the menu!
The Tropical Hideaway can be accessed via its main bridge, through Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room or along “Skipper’s Walk,” a pathway that …

Menu Updates and More for the Tropical Hideaway at Disneyland

Disneyland’s Adventureland will soon be home to the Tropical Hideaway where guests will be able to relax and enjoy eats and sips from around the world.
The Tropical Hideway is being touted as an exotic marketplace which will be located near the famed Jungle Cruise attraction.
The market will serve up eats include Bao Buns (Spiced Vegetable Bao, Kaffir Lime Chicken Bao, and Bulgogi Beef Bao), chilled ramen salad, and even Pineapple Lumpia (the same Lumpia that just returned to the menu at Pongu Pongu in Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Disney World).

New Attraction-Themed Coke Bottles Arrive at Disney Parks

If you’re a fan of the fun Disney-themed Coke bottles that have been at the Disney Parks for the past couple of years, you’re going to love the new attraction-themed bottles.
The new bottles including a Coke bottle for the Haunted Mansion, a Diet Coke in Tomorrowland, and a Coke Zero Sugar at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Our friends at the Disney Food Blog also spotted a Jungle Cruise bottle in Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom.
All bottles are available in both Disney World and Disneyland.

Ultimate Disney Classics VIP Tour Announced at the Magic Kingdom

There’s a new VIP tour at the Magic Kingdom giving guests the chance to experience VIP treatment and some of the most popular attractions at the theme park.
The Ultimate Disney Classics VIP Tour is a 4-hour tour led by Disney VIP Tour Guides. While on the tour guests have the chance to experience up to 10 attractions including Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, it’s a small world, Peter Pan’s Flight, and more.
The tour also includes a meet-and-greet with Mickey Mouse.

Disney Reveals Merchandise for D23’s Destination D: Amazing Adventures

This year’s D23 Destination D: Amazing Adventures is still a couple months away but Disney just released a preview of the merchandise for the event.
The event will feature James Cameron, Jon Landau, Bob Chapek, Joe Rohde, Marty Skalr, Jared Bush, and Tony Baxter in addition to a Walt Disney Archives exhibit celebrating Walt’s personal adventure.
And, Mickey’s of Glendale will have exclusive merchandise, pins, and collectibles at their pop-up store.

Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen in Soft Opening at the Magic Kingdom

The wait is over! The Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen is currently in soft opening at the Magic Kingdom with the official grand opening set for December 16.
The 222-seat table service restaurant is located in Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom and features dishes inspired by the tastes of Asia, South America, and Africa.
Guests can dine in three distinct dining rooms – the Crew’s Mess Hall, the Falls Family Parlor, or the Secret Meeting Room of the S.E.A. (Society of Adventurers and Explorers). The restaurant is staffed by Jungle Cruise …

Jungle Cruise in the Magic Kingdom is Once Again Transformed to the Jingle Cruise for the Holidays

It’s the holiday season at the Magic Kingdom and the Jungle Cruise is once again being transformed for the holidays.
The Jingle Cruise is back for this year’s holiday season!
As with last year’s Jingle Cruise this year’s cruise has been decorated by the Skippers who are homesick for the holidays. They’ve added holiday decorations to the queue, boathouse, and the boats.
The boats have also been renamed for the holidays with festive names and the Skippers will be telling seasonal jokes.

Jungle Cruise Sunrise Safari Breakfast Coming to Disneyland for a Limited Time

Fans of Disneyland’s Jungle Cruise can now make reservations for a limited-time Sunrise Safari Breakfast on the iconic attraction.
The breakfast will be served on the African veldt of the attraction and will include pastries, scones, eggs, fruit, parfaits, sausage, potato and onion hash, pork belly bacon, and beverages.
After breakfast guests will have a chance to try out their skipper skills behind the wheel of a Jungle Cruise boat and will be initiated into the Fraternal League of Secret Skippers. All guests will also receive a tribal mask keepsake.

The Week in Disney News – Star Wars Land Coming to Disney World and Disneyland, Jungle Cruise Restaurant Announced, and More

What a week for Disney fans! As I type, the D23 Expo is still happening so there’s sure to be more exciting news to report. But let’s talk about what we know so far!
First – and perhaps most importantly – Disney officially announced that a Star Wars-themed land is coming to both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland! The lands will be 14 acres each and will feature two new attractions (including a chance to be at the controls of the Millennium Falcon!) along with a Star Wars Cantina and more!
