Disney and American Airlines Collaborate in ‘Disney’s Planes’

When a studio makes a movie about planes, it seems natural to collaborate with a company that makes planes. And that’s just what happened with Disney’s Planes.
Walt Disney Studios and American Airlines announced last week that they have come together in a very special way for the summer release of Disney’s Planes – the movie features a character inspired by a new American Airlines plane.

Dane Cook to Replace Jon Cryer in Disney’s ‘Planes’

When Disney announced its animated film Planes, a spin-off sequel to the hit franchise Cars, Jon Cryer was originally tapped to lend his voice to the role of Dusty. Now, sources have announced that Dane Cook will replace Cryer in the role.
Klay Hall, the film’s director, said:
Dane Cook brings unmatched charisma and brilliant comedic timing and instincts to the character. He gives Dusty a great edge.
