‘Frozen’ Producer Confirms Broadway Plans for Hit Disney Animated Film

Frozen really is headed to Broadway.
The film’s producer Peter Del Vecho confirmed earlier reports that that Academy Award-winning film is being turned into a Broadway play.
In an interview with TVGuide.com Del Vecho said “there is no specific timeline” for when Frozen might make its way to Broadway but would only say that it was “under development.”
Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee – the film’s director’s – are also rumored to be attached to the project.

Walt Disney Animation Studios’ ‘Frozen’ Wins Oscar for Best Animated Feature

For the first time (in forever) Walt Disney Animation Studios took home the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
The Studios’ worldwide phenomenon Frozen was named Best Animated Feature at the Oscar telecast on March 2. To date the film has earned $1 billion in worldwide ticket sales.
The Animated Film category was introduced at the Academy Awards in 2002 and has been dominated by Disney’s Pixar studios. That studio has won seven times in the last 11 years but was not nominated this year.

All-New Sing-Along Version of “Frozen” Arrives in Theaters Nationwide January 31

If you can’t stop singing along to your Frozen soundtrack, listen up!
On January 31, an all-new sing-along version of Disney’s Golden Globe-winning and Oscar-nominated film is opening in 1,000 theaters nationwide.
