Tickets Now on Sale for Halloween and Christmas Parties at the Magic Kingdom

Today’s the day! Tickets are now on sale for both Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party starts early this year with the first party scheduled for August 25!
The dates are: August 25, 29; September 1, 7, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 29;  October 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29, 31, and November 1.

Watch a Live Stream of Happily Ever After on May 12

If you can’t make it to the Magic Kingdom for the opening night of Happily Ever After, you can watch a live stream of the new nighttime spectacular from home.
The Disney Parks Blog is hosting a live stream of the first night of Happily Ever After on May 12 beginning at 8:55 p.m. ET.
The new nighttime spectacular is replacing Wishes, which will end its run on May 11 at the Magic Kingdom.

Happily Ever After Ready to Debut on May 12 at the Magic Kingdom

The Magic Kingdom’s new nighttime spectacular, Happily Ever After, debuts Friday, May 12.
The new nighttime show will replace the popular Wishes fireworks show, which will end its run on May 11.
Happily Ever After will include fireworks, pyrotechnics, lasers, hand-drawn animation, original music, a new theme song, and more.
The show tells the story of chasing one’s dreams and finding “your happily ever after.”

Dates Announced for 2017 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom

The calendar might say April, but Disney has just released the dates for the 2017 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom!
This holiday party is a fan favorite and takes place on select nights in November and December.
The dates for 2017 are: November 8,9, 12, 14, 16, 17, 26, and 28; and December 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, and 22.
This year’s party will include Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Holiday Wishes fireworks, A Frozen Holiday Wish, and Mickey’s Most Merriest …

Dates Announced for 2017 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom

The dates have been announced for this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom.
The party starts early this year – August 25! – and runs on select nights through November 1.
The dates are: August 25 and 29; September 1, 7, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 29; October 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29, and 31; and November 1.
That’s 53 days of not-so-spooky fun!

US Navy’s Blue Angels to Fly Over Magic Kingdom this Thursday

If you’re visiting the Magic Kingdom this Thursday, you’re in for a visual treat!
The U.S. Navy Blue Angels are planning to fly over Main Street U.S.A. on April 6 between 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. The Blue Angels will make two passes above the park.
Back in 2015 the Blue Angels performed a flyover at the Magic Kingdom with six F/A-18 Hornet jets flying overhead at more than 250 miles an hour. That flyover included a Delta Break over Cinderella Castle.

Main Street Electrical Parade to Remain at Disneyland through August

The limited-time engagement for Main Street Electrical Parade has been extended at Disneyland.
The parade’s run was slated to end early this summer, but due to popular demand the parade will now stay through at least August.
The Main Street Electrical Parade returned to Disneyland in January after a run at the Magic Kingdom since 2010. The parade started in Disneyland back in 1972.
No nighttime parade has been announced as a replacement at the Magic Kingdom in the Walt Disney World Resort.

New Merchandise for ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Coming to Disney Parks for Star Wars: Force For Change

The Disney Parks have once again partnered with Lucasfilm to sell specially designed products to support the Star Wars: Force For Change initiative that supports the U.S. Fund for UNICEF.
Force for Change “harnesses the strength of Star Wars to empower and improve the lives of children around the world.”
New items are arriving this spring at the Disney Parks in support of the initiative.
The merchandise includes T-shirts for adults and kids, plus a pin featuring the logo and characters from Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
