The first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party of the season is just a few weeks away and Disney is giving guests a preview of the new holiday-themed Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom card.
The new card, ‘Goofy’s Festive Fiasco,’ celebrates holiday chaos created by Goofy as he’s decorating for the holiday season.
The holiday card is only available during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom.
Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom begins at the Firehouse on Main Street U.S.A. Guests can pick up their key cards, spell cards, and maps here …

Even without the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights this holiday season, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is ready to celebrate the holidays with an all-new nighttime spectacular!

A new Disney Princess is coming to the Magic Kingdom for a new meet-and-greet.
Princess Elena of Avalor was welcomed to the theme park earlier this summer in royal fashion with The Princess Elena Welcome Show, but beginning November 24, guests can finally meet Elena too!
Elena will meet fans in the Princess Fairytale Hall alongside other Disney Princesses. Guests can choose to meet Cinderella and Elena, or Tiana and Rapunzel.
FastPass+ reservations for the Princess Elena meet-and-greet open today, October 14.

If you’ve ever dreamed about getting married in the Magic Kingdom – after dark – now you can!
Disney’s Fairytale Weddings & Honeymoons recently announced that they are now planning exclusive evening wedding ceremonies and receptions at the Magic Kingdom.
These nighttime celebrations take place after the theme park closes, and guests can say “I do” in front of Cinderella Castle.
Brides can ride down Main Street U.S.A. in Cinderella’s Coach, and the reception takes place in Fantasyland.

If you’re the owner of a brand new iPhone 7 and you need to Disney-fy it, you’ll want to check out the D-Tech on Demand stations at the Disney Parks.
The D-Tech on Demand stations are now offering guests a chance to create a new phone case for the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
The new designs – including Halloween-themed designs – are for both iPhone 6 and 7 models (including the Plus models).
If you’re just looking for a pre-packaged phone case you’ll find those at the Disney Parks later in October.

The new Muppets live show at the Magic Kingdom – ‘The Muppets Present…Great Moments in American History’ – is set to debut on October 2.
This new show stars Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and The Great Gonzo, and is hosted by James “J.J.” Jefferson, town crier of Liberty Square, and Sam Eagle.
The Muppets Present…Great Moments in American History will take place several times throughout the day in Liberty Square, just outside the Hall of Presidents.

Beginning October 2, Stitch’s Great Escape in the Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland will no longer be open daily.
The attraction is moving to a “seasonal” operation schedule and will only be open when park attendance is higher.
Stitch’s Great Escape opened back in 2004, taking the place of ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter which opened in 1995.
The attraction uses a theater-in-the-round format, but the Stitch attraction is less frightening than its predecessor.
The attraction tells the story of what happened prior to the events in 2002’s Lilo & Stitch.

The Magic Kingdom is celebrating its 45th anniversary next month but guests can pick up some commemorative merchandise this month.
The commemorative logo products including apparel, pins, home goods, and more will be available beginning September 22 at select Magic Kingdom locations.
The locations include: Emporium, Mickey’s Star Traders, Big Top Souvenirs, and Briar Patch.
Two 45th anniversary Dooney & Bourke purses are currently available on the Shop Disney Parks app. The purses will be at the Emporium starting September 22.

The 2016 Epcot Food and Wine Festival started on Wednesday, September 14! The Food and Wine Festival features more than 30 Marketplace Booths – including a few in Future World for the second year in a row.

The end of the Main Street Electrical Parade on October 9 doesn’t exactly mean the end of the dining package at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant.
Guests can still book the prix fixe lunch at Tony’s Town Square that includes parade viewing, but as of October 10 that parade will be the Festival of Fantasy Parade.
The lunch package includes choice of an appetizer, entree, and dessert (plus beverage) at Tony’s Town Square and a voucher for a reserved spot for the parade.
