Schedule of Events Announced for Pro Bowl Week at the Walt Disney World Resort

The 2017 Pro Bowl game will be played in Orlando on January 29, but the week leading up to the game is filled with activities for fans.
Some of the activities including the NFL Flag Championship, Pro Bowl Skills Showdown, access to the team practices, a football themed fan festival, and more.

Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom between January 12 and February 22 have a chance to try the new ‘Dine on the Go’ one-day quick service dining plan.
This new one-day quick service Dining Plan gives guests one quick service meal before 4 p.m. and one quick service meal after 4 p.m. The cost is $29 for adults and $12 for kids ages 3-9.

Disney ‘Dine on the Go’ Coming to Magic Kingdom for Limited Time

For a limited time beginning January 12, guests at the Magic Kingdom can purchase a Disney Dine-On-The-Go one-day quick service Disney Dining Plan.
This new one-day quick service Dining Plan gives guests one quick service meal before 4 p.m. and one quick service meal after 4 p.m.
The cost is $29 for adults and $12 for kids ages 3-9.
The quick service meals include an entree and a beverage, dessert is not included.
This is a limited time offer good from January 12 through February 22.

Happy New Year! Here’s to a wonderful, Disney-filled 2017! The year ended with some exciting Disney news, so let’s check it out!
If you’re making plans to attend the Epcot International Festival of the Arts, bookings are now open for the special events. There are also dining packages available, paired with the Disney on Broadway shows.

Celebrating the New Year at Walt Disney World

Happy New Year’s Eve!
If you’re lucky enough to be celebrating today or tonight at the Walt Disney World Resort there are several special New Year’s Eve events planned at the Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Epcot.
Guests at Epcot can enjoy DJ’s spinning tunes in several locations in World Showcase and Future World. A special presentation of IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth is planned for 11:40 p.m., featuring a countdown and salute to the New Year.

New Welcome Show Coming to the Magic Kingdom in January

The Magic Kingdom is introducing a brand new opening moment beginning January 9, 2017.
On that date guests will be able to enter Main Street U.S.A. prior to the park’s scheduled opening time. Guests can visit the Main Street Bakery during this time and enjoy Main Street.
The new opening show will ‘officially’ open the park at the Castle Forecourt Stage at the official opening time.
The show will feature a Royal Herald with a proclamation and several Disney characters, opening the park each morning.

Where to Celebrate New Year’s Eve at the Walt Disney World Resort

It’s almost time to ring in 2017 and there’s no better place to celebrate than at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Guests at Epcot can enjoy a DJ at the Future World Fountain Stage from 7 p.m. until 1 a.m.
There’s also a smoke-billowing dragon in China, performances by British Invasion in the United Kingdom Pavilion, a Euro-pop DJ in Italy, a Latin band and DJ at the America Gardens theater, and a “Silent Groove” in Japan.

Magic Kingdom Fireworks to be Broadcast Online on New Year’s Eve

If you’re wishing you were celebrating New Year’s Eve at the Magic Kingdom, we have good news!
You can watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks from the Magic Kingdom from the comfort of your living room – no crowds, no lines, just fireworks to ring in the New Year.
The Disney Parks Blog will be broadcasting the Fantasy in the Sky fireworks online beginning at 11:45 p.m. at the DPB site.

Disney World Announces Passholder Gates for Annual Passholders

Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholders can start using a specially designated gate to enter the Disney theme parks starting today.
These “Passholder” gates allow those with an Annual Pass to bypass the long holiday lines at the theme parks’ gates.
This new Annual Passholder benefit starts today and will run through the end of January according to Disney.
The special Passholder gates are a way for Disney to say “thanks” to its Annual Passholder during the busiest time of year for the theme parks.
