Anna and Elsa to Leave Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom and Move to Epcot this Sumer

Anna and Elsa are making a move!
The princesses (OK, the queen of Arendelle and her sister the princess) are packing up and leaving the Princess Fairytale Hall at the Magic Kingdom sometime this summer.
They’re moving over to Epcot to the soon-to-open Royal Sommerhus in Epcot’s Norway pavilion.
The new Sommerhus is part of the expansion in Norway that also includes the all-new attraction Frozen Ever After which is housed in the former location of Maelstrom.
Guests can visit the Royal Sommerhus and meet Anna and Elsa once the updated area opens sometime …

Disney After Hours Price Reduced for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members

Disney has reduced the price for the Disney After Hours for guests who are Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members.
The regular price for this event at the Magic Kingdom is $149 but Disney has announced that the price is cut to $75 for Annual Passholders and DVC members for the remaining nights of the event.
Five nights remain for the event – April 28, and May 5, 8, 12, and 19. There is no word yet on whether Disney will extend the event on additional dates.

Princess Elena of Avalor to Appear at the Magic Kingdom and Disney California Adventure this Summer

A brand new Disney Princess is coming to the Magic Kingdom and Disney California Adventure this summer.
Princess Elena of Avalor – who is also making her Disney Channel debut this summer – will be meeting guests at both parks.
Her arrival at the Magic Kingdom is expected in August while there is no set date yet for Disney California Adventure.
The Disney Channel series follows the story of 16-year-old Elena who rules the kingdom of Avalor with the help of her Grand Council and some magical friends. The show will air in …

New Haunted Mansion Tsum Tsum Coming to the Disney Parks

When it comes to Tsum Tsum plush toys, there’s always room for one more!
Disney just announced that a new collection of Tsum Tsum inspired by the Haunted Mansion is debuting on April 15.
The new stackable 3-inch plush toys include Madame Leota, the bride, and the Hitchhiking Ghost. Another Tsum Tsum looks like the cast member hostesses at the attraction.
Later this summer new Tsum Tsum inspired by Fantasyland attractions will make their way to the Disney Parks.

New Disney Early Morning Magic Package Available at the Magic Kingdom

A brand-new early morning ticketed event has been announced at the Magic Kingdom.
The Disney Early Morning Magic package is available on select Tuesdays and Saturdays beginning April 26.
The special event takes place from 7:45-10 a.m. on those select mornings and includes access to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and Peter Pan’s Flight plus a breakfast at Pinocchio’s Village Haus.
The breakfast menu includes cheese and cured meats, scrambled eggs, vegetable frittata, bacon, sausage, waffles, fruit, and pastries.

Disney Releases Sneak Preview of Magic Kingdom’s 45th Anniversary Logo

This fall the Magic Kingdom will celebrate its 45th anniversary and Disney has just released artwork for the celebration’s commemorative merchandise.
The artwork celebrates the history of the Magic Kingdom and has a vintage look and feel.
Artist Jeff Granito did most of the artwork for the commemorative program. Attraction logos include classic rides and newer attractions.
The main merchandise logo features Mickey Mouse and images of each of the themed lands in the Magic Kingdom.

Dates Announced for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

It might only be March but Disney has announced the dates for this year’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!
The party is held on select nights beginning November 7 through December 22 at the Magic Kingdom.
This year’s dates are: November 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 18, 27, 29; and December 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 18, and 22.

Dates Announced for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom

Disney has announced the dates for the 2016 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom.
This year the party is scheduled for 29 days beginning September 2 and running on select nights through October 31.
The dates for this year are: September 2, 8, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, 29, 30; and October 2, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31.

New After Hours Experience Announced for Magic Kingdom

The Magic Kingdom is hosting a brand-new after hours experience on select nights in April and May.
The Disney After Hours is scheduled for April 28 and May 5 from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m., and on April 14, 21, and May 8, 12, and 19 from 11 p.m.  until 2 a.m.
This after hours event will give guests a chance to enjoy select Magic Kingdom attractions including Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Peter Pan’s Flight, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and more.
