Disney Junior Orders Second Season of ‘Sheriff Callie’s Wild West’

Sheriff Callie will continue to keep the peace on Disney Junior.
The network has ordered a second season of Sheriff Callie’s Wild West. The series stars Mandy Moore (Tangled) as the voice of Sheriff Callie, a calico cat sheriff who lives in the frontier town of Nice and Friendly Corners.
Callie works to make sure that everyone in town follows the rules of good morals, manners, and social ethics.

Season Two of Disney Channel’s ‘Sofia the First’ Debuts on March 7

The second season of Disney Channel’s hit animated series Sofia the First debuts Friday, March 7.
This second season will include special appearances by Disney Princesses Mulan, Tiana, and Rapunzel and each will be voiced by the stars who provided their voices in their original films – Ming-Na Wen (Mulan), Disney Legend Anika Noni Rose (The Princess and the Frog), and Mandy Moore (Tangled).

There’s a new sheriff in town and she’s the star of the first Western for preschoolers.

For the first time ever, a Disney/ABC Television group series will premiere on the WATCH Disney Junior app later before debuting on a network channel.
The Disney Junior animated series Sheriff Callie’s Wild West is set to debut on November 24 for verified viewer on WATCHDisneyJunior.com and the WATCH Disney Junior app. The series is also the first Western for preschool aged viewers.

Star Sighting: Mandy Moore Poses with Rapunzel at Disneyland Resort

Last week, Tangled star Mandy Moore stopped by the Disneyland Resort for a meet-and-greet with Rapunzel.
After posing for a photo, the singer/actress said she was looking forward to seeing Disneyland Resort decked out in its Halloween Time decor, and was really eager to check out Cars Land at Disney’s California Adventure.
Of course, no visit would be complete without a ride on Space Mountain – according to Moore, that is her favorite attraction.

Catch a Sneak Peek of Disney XD’s TRON: Uprising

This June, Disney XD will debut a new series TRON: Uprising, which takes place between the original 1980’s TRON movie and the 2010 sequel TRON: Legacy.
The series will follow main character Beck, who begins a revolution to protect his world and his family from the evil Clu and General Tesler. Beck, fortunately, was trained by the top warrior in his universe – Tron.
All all-star voice cast includes Elijah Wood, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Mandy Moore, Nate Corddry, Lance Henriksen, Paul Reubens and Bruce Boxleitner reprising his original role of Tron.

‘Tangled Ever After’ Coming to Disney Channel Spring 2012

There have been so many cool things learned from last week’s D23 Expo that this one almost snuck in under the radar…but we are such fans of the film that we couldn’t possibly let it go by unmentioned.
Disney announced last weekend that Tangled Ever After, a brand new short featuring your favorite characters from the film Tangled, will be coming to the Disney Channel in the spring of 2012.

This year’s Comic-Con 2011 brought the release of the newest trailer for the upcoming Disney XD series Tron: Uprising. Disney XD Launching Several New Shows

With the recent announcement of Disney XD’s cancellation of I’m in the Band, as well as the uncertain future of Zeke and Luther, fans will need to look forward to some of the new shows that are in the pipeline for Disney Channel’s sister station.
