The new Disney Dooney & Bourke collection is debuting this month at Tren-D in the Downtown Disney Marketplace at the Walt Disney World Resort. This design is called the “Mickey Rainbow Letter Collection” and features the words “Mickey” and “Minnie” in rainbow letters in addition to Mickey and Minnie head silhouettes on a black background.
The collection includes a large Pocket Tote ($295), a Satchel ($195), a Pocket Satchel ($260), and a Tablet Sleeve ($90). These items will be available beginning May 25 at Tren-D.

Walt Disney Animation Studios announced that a never-before-seen animated short is debuting June 11 at the Annecy Animation Festival in Annecy, France. The thing that makes this film so special is that Walt Disney is the voice of Mickey Mouse!
In the hand-drawn, black and white animated short Get A Horse!, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and their friends Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow are enjoying a musical wagon ride until Peg-Leg Pete tries to run them off the road.

Earlier this week SEGA and Disney Interactive announced the upcoming digital release of Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse. This game is a total re-imagining of the Genesis side-scrolling adventure that was originally released in 1990. The new game will be available for digital download later this summer on Xbox Live Arcade for Xbox360, PlayStation Network and Windows PC.

Guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will soon have the chance to become Wilderness Explorers, experiencing the park in a way that will deepen their understanding of animals and our natural world.
This new experience is geared toward guests ages 7-10, but it’ll be fun for the whole family as kids take the official Wilderness Explorer pledge and then use field guides while they tour the park at their own pace. “Mickey’s Toothache,” a 1938 drawing of Mickey Mouse and his then-nemesis Pete, was recently released from the Disney archives. The drawing was originally part of an unfinished cartoon that was meant to make Mickey a more complete character.
The artwork, created by Ferdinand Horvath, shows Mickey’s nightmarish trip to the dentist. In the drawing, Pete chases after Mickey with some wicked looking tools in hand while an anthropomorphic dentist’s chair attempts to grab Mickey.
