Mobile Order Update Coming to Disney World and Disneyland

Mobile Order – the popular system that allows guests to pre-order and pre-pay for food at quick service locations in Disney World and Disneyland – is getting a makeover.
According to Disney, the update to Mobile Order “features an easier navigation and improved design with fun, colorful icons, and even more photos of the menu items.”
The updated is currently available for Disneyland in the Disneyland app, and will be available soon for Disney World in the My Disney Experience app.

Digital Key Feature in My Disney Experience App Rolls Out to All Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

The Digital Key feature in the My Disney Experience app has been rolled out to all Walt Disney World Resort Hotels.
The feature allows guests to unlock their resort hotel room using the My Disney Experience app.
This is in addition to being able to use your MagicBand to unlock your hotel room.
And because it’s Disney, guests will hear the sound of pixie dust “filling the air” as they unlock their room using their Bluetooth-enabled phone.

My Disney Experience App Updated with Bus Times

The My Disney Experience app has been updated with a new feature – bus times for the Disney Parks resort buses!
According to Disney, the new feature allows guests to “iscover up-to-the-minute estimates for when the next buses will depart from their Disney Resort hotel and when they will complete their journey to their destination.”
The app will update in real time so guests have the most current arrival time for their bus.
Guests can check on the bus times by tapping “See Bus Times” when viewing their active Disney Resort hotel reservation …

Digital Key Feature Coming to My Disney Experience App

A new digital key feature is coming soon to the My Disney Experience app.
The first resort with this feature will be Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Using the My Disney Experience app, guests will be able to unlock their hotel room door.
Guests will also be able to use the mobile app to unlock common areas around the hotels including pools, fitness centers, elevators and club level lounges.
And, guests who have checked in online can bypass checking in at the front desk and can use the app to unlock their room’s door.

New Benefits Coming to Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels in 2018

Beginning in January 2018, guests at the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels will be able to take advantage of several new benefits as hotel guests at the Disney World theme parks.
Guests will be able to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours at the theme parks for all of 2018.

My Disney Experience App Now Tracks Disney Dining Plan Credits

There was an update to the My Disney Experience app this week and one of the new features allows guests to track Disney Dining Plan credits with the app!
The updated app will now show you how many meals and snack entitlements you have left in addition to how many refillable drink mugs you are entitled to and how many have been redeemed.

Online Check-In Available on My Disney Experience App

If you’re visiting the Walt Disney World Resort and you’re staying at a WDW hotel, you can now use the Online Check-In service via the My Disney Experience app.
Online Check-In allows guests to begin their check-in experience 60 days before they arrive at Walt Disney World, essentially bypassing the front desk.
Guests can provide an email address and mobile phone number where they’ll receive notification when their room is ready. Check-In is complete when guests use their MagicBands to unlock their hotel room door.

My Disney Experience App Updated

Disney’s My Disney Experience app has been updated and redesigned.
The updated app will make it easier for guests to plan their Disney vacations and continue to use the app throughout their trip.
The app now opens right to the park maps so guests can navigate their way to attractions, restaurants, and even the nearest restroom.

Disney World Rolls Out MagicBand 2.0 and Accessories

The new and improved MagicBand 2.0 have been released at the Walt Disney World Resort and the wearable room key, ticket, and FastPass+ device has some fun new features.
The 2.0 version now features new graphic retail designs, eight colors – pink, blue, red, green, orange, grey, yellow, and purple – and are on sale all over Walt Disney World Resort.

My Disney Experience App Now Includes ‘Get Directions’ Function

If you use the My Disney Experience app while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, there’s a new function called ‘Get Directions.’
This new feature on the app lets users type in a location they want to visit and the location where they are currently and then calculates the travel time, and even gives step-by-step directions.
