Disney has announced details about the fourth play set coming to Disney Infinity, the video game that features physical figures and virtual worlds akin to Activision’s Skylanders franchise.
In addition to Pirates of the Caribbean, Monsters Inc., and The Incredibles, Pixar’s Cars characters will have their own play set when the game launches. While the first three play sets will be sold in a starter pack for $74.99, the Cars play set will sell individually for $34.99. According to Disney, each play set will add about six to nine hours of gameplay.

Disney has hired Catch Me If You Can screenwriter Jeff Nathanson to pen the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean film, sources are reporting.
While Johnny Depp has not officially signed on to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow, the Mouse House is optimistic that he will return, as he has said in the past he will always return to the franchise if the material remains good.

Earlier this year, we reported that former White Stripes frontman Jack White would score Disney’s The Lone Ranger. Now, sources are reporting that White has been replaced by Hans Zimmer.

Sources have announced that production has begun for the upcoming Disney flick The Lone Ranger, featuring Armie Hammer in the starring role and Johnny Depp as Tonto.
