Annie Leibovitz’s Latest Disney Portrait Features Taylor Swift as Rapunzel

In celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz’s latest Disney Dream Portrait, country crooner Taylor Swift poses as Rapunzel from Disney’s film Tangled.
Dressed in a flowing pink and purple gown with her trademark long locks, Swift looks exactly like the Disney version of the captivating princess. Swift joins a long line of celebrities who have posed for Leibovitz’s Disney Dream Portrait Series, including Russell Brand as “Captain Hook” and Jack Black, Will Ferrell and Jason Segel as the Hitchhiking Ghosts from Disney’s Haunted Mansion attraction.

Demo Released for Disney Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion

Fans eagerly awaiting the Nintendo 3DS game Disney Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion can now download a playable demo of the game.
In this sequel to Castle of Illusion, players find themselves fighting to stop the evil Mizrabel from wreaking havoc on Mickey and friends. The 2D game will also feature popular characters from Disney’s past, including Scrooge McDuck, Rapunzel and Beast.
While initially set for a September release, the game is now slated for release November 18, 2012.

Star Sighting: Mandy Moore Poses with Rapunzel at Disneyland Resort

Last week, Tangled star Mandy Moore stopped by the Disneyland Resort for a meet-and-greet with Rapunzel.
After posing for a photo, the singer/actress said she was looking forward to seeing Disneyland Resort decked out in its Halloween Time decor, and was really eager to check out Cars Land at Disney’s California Adventure.
Of course, no visit would be complete without a ride on Space Mountain – according to Moore, that is her favorite attraction.

Disney Interactive Releases ‘Disney Princess’  Video Game

Disney Interactive has announced the release of Disney Princess: My Fairytale Adventure for the WII, 3DS and PC.
This new interactive game allows players to immerse themselves in the worlds of several popular Disney Princesses, including Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Tiana and Rapunzel. By wielding a magic wand, players must save the Disney Princess from vicious Imps who are trying to take over.

D-Tech Me Offering Disney Princess Figurines at Walt Disney World Resort

The D-Tech Me experience was launched as part of Star Wars Weekends back in May; guests could be “frozen” in carbonite using state of the art technology to freeze their likeness into a carbonite figurine.
Now, D-Tech Me will be expanding to include Disney Princess Figurines for guests ages 3-12. New Trailer Released for ‘Disney Princess: My Fairytale Adventure’

A new live-action trailer has been released for the upcoming video game Disney Princess: My Fairytale Adventure.
In this video game, players will take on the role of an apprentice to the Fairy Godmother. During game play, the player will set off a series of unfortunate events that magically transform friendly Sprites into not-so-friendly Imps. The Imps then proceed to the worlds of various Disney Princesses, including Belle, Rapunzel, Ariel, Tiana and Cinderella. Merida from Disney/Pixar’s ‘Brave’ Coming to Disney Parks

Disney/Pixar’s Brave opens in theaters June 22, but the theater won’t be the only place fans will be able to see Merida, the main character from the film. Soon, she will be coming to Disney parks in a new meet-and-greet experience.
At the Magic Kingdom, Merida will be in Fairytale Garden with three cubs from the film. The setting will be inspired by her home, set in the Scottish Highlands, and children will be able to participate in fun activities like archery lessons while waiting for their chance to meet Merida. …

New ‘Tangled Ever After’ Short to Debut in Front of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ in 3D

We recently let you know about the upcoming return of Beauty and the Beast to movie theaters. The film will be released in 3D in January 2012, and this week, Disney announced that audiences will be treated to an appearance by another favorite Disney princess at screenings of the film. Rapunzel Officially Becomes 10th Disney Princess in London Ceremony

Rapunzel was officially recognized by Disney as a Disney Princess today, in a ceremony held at Kensington Palace in London, England. Little princesses came from across the globe to witness the Tangled star become the 10th Disney Princess, joining the elite group that includes Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Mulan, Pocahontas, Snow White and Tiana.

Magic Kingdom Parking Lot Getting a Makeover

In order to help guests locate their vehicles more easily, the parking lot at Disney’s Magic Kingdom theme park will be getting a makeover. Work has already begun on dividing the lot into two distinct sections: Heroes and Villains.
Within each section of the parking lot, there will be smaller named areas including Aladdin, Peter Pan, Simba, Woody, Mulan and Rapunzel in the Heroes lot.
