Disney Gives Preview of Finisher Medals for the Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend Races

Disney has given guests a sneak peek at the finisher medals for the 2018 Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend races.
The medals all feature popular Disney Chefs, which is fitting since the race takes place during the 2018 Epcot Food and Wine Festival.
The finisher medal for the half marathon features Chef Mickey (‘natch), the Disney Fall Fest 5K medal features Chef Tony from Lady and the Tramp, and the Wine and Dine 10K medal features Chef Louis and Sebastian from Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

D23 Expo Disney Parks and Resorts Panel Reveals New Projects for Walt Disney World Resort

The Disney Parks and Resorts Panel at the D23 Expo was full of exciting announcements about the Walt Disney World Resort including new attractions, new hotels, and even new transportation options.
First at Epcot, a brand new Ratatouille attraction is coming to the France Pavilion, expanding the pavilion’s size. The attraction will be similar to the 4D attraction at Disneyland Paris.

More Details Announced for Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak at the 2015 Epcot Food and Wine Festival

This year’s Epcot International Food and Wine Festival will feature a special scavenger hunt for the whole family – Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak.
The scavenger hunt sends guests on a journey through World Showcase to help Remy find the ingredients for his most famous dish – Ratatouille.
Guests will need to purchase a map with stickers for $9.95 plus tax in order to play the game. The maps will be available at Disney Traders, Festival Center, Pin Central, Port of Entry, and World Traveler (located in the International Gateway).

Details Announced for 20th Annual Epcot Food & Wine Festival Including New Dishes and Special Events

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and Disney is starting to release details about the festival.
New dishes coming to this year’s festival include a Grilled Sweet and Spicy Bush Berry Shrimp with Pineapple, Peppers, Onions, and Snap Peas at the Australia booth, a Seared Venison Loin with Wild Mushroom Ragout and Kumara Dumpling at the New Zealand booth, and Pepper Bacon Mac ‘n Cheese at the Farm Fresh booth.

La Place de Rémy Based on ‘Ratatouille’ Opens at Disneyland Paris

Disney’s first themed area based on the hit film Ratatouille has opened at Disneyland Paris.
La Place de Rémy features the new attractions L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy. The attraction shrinks guests down to “rat size” and whisks them on an adventure over the rooftops of Paris and through Gusteau’s.
The ride vehicles are shaped liked rats (and they’re called ‘ratmobiles’) and they scurry through the kitchen and dining room of Gusteau’s before ending at Bistrot Chez Rémy.

‘Ratatouille’-themed Restaurant and Ride to Open in Disneyland Paris Later This Year

Everyone’s favorite rat chef is getting his own ride and restaurant at Disneyland Paris this fall.
Remy – the “little chef” from Disney/Pixar’s Ratatouille – is the focus of the ride and the restaurant which will both be located inside Walt Disney Studios at the Disneyland Paris Resort.

Vive la France! Disneyland Paris Turns 21

On April 12, Disneyland Paris celebrated its 21st birthday! As part of the fête d’anniversaire, the park introduced a new nighttime extravaganza, Disney Dreams! In the show, Peter Pan’s shadow weaves in and out among famous and popular moments in various Disney films, including Brave and The Lion King. And due to the popularity of the show, those still hoping to join in the festivities in Paris are in luck – the 21st birthday celebrations will continue until September 30, 2013.

Disneyland Paris Announces ‘Ratatouille’ Attraction, Update to ‘Disney Dreams’

Last year, we let you know that Disneyland Paris was beginning work on a brand-new attraction based on the Pixar film Ratatouille. This week, Disney finally officially confirmed the new attraction, which is set to open in Disneyland Resort Paris’ Walt Disney Studios Park in 2014.

Disney Launches Video On-Demand Service in Portugal

Disney announced plans for a new movie on demand service in Europe, in cooperation with local media group ZON. This will be the first movie on demand service in Europe for Disney.
The new service will launch in Portugal, and will offer on-demand selections of popular Disney and Pixar films including Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Ratatouille and Enchanted.
