New Disney Pins and Accessories Arriving at Disney Parks this Month

This summer Disney Pin collectors were treated to more than 250 new pins and accessories and there are more new items arriving this month.
A new pin set inspired by Disney/Pixar’s Up is set to arrive in the Disney Parks soon. The set features four new pins with Carl and Elli and look like photographs of the couple.
There is also a new Tangled pin set featuring Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, and other characters from the film. The Tangled collection includes open edition individual pins and two-pin sets.

Whimsical and Contemporary Festival of Fantasy Parade Debuts in March at the Magic Kingdom

The Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is set to debut next month at the Magic Kingdom with 100 performers and brand new floats, all in a tribute to Fantasyland.
The parade is the first in a new generation of Disney Parks parades and includes new technology, a new musical score, and floats that are three stories tall.

Disney Junior’s New Series ‘Sheriff Callie’s Wild West’ Debuts January 20

There’s a new sheriff in town and she’s the star of the first Western for preschoolers.
Disney Junior’s new series Sheriff Callie’s Wild West is scheduled to debut on Monday, January 20 at 5 p.m. ET. Mandy Moore (Tangled) stars as the voice of Sheriff Callie.

Disney Offers a Sneak Peek of Floats from the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade

A new parade will soon by making its way down Main Street U.S.A. at the Magic Kingdom, and Disney is giving fans a sneak peek of the new floats.
The Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is set to debut next spring and will highlight several beloved Disney films.
In the Ariel float, the Little Mermaid and her undersea friends are perched on a music box that showcases the musical number “Under the Sea.”

‘Summertime is Storytime Campaign’ Brings Storytelling to Kids’ Fingertips

Summertime means school is out and kids just want to play outside, but parents know how important it is to keep their kids reading and engaged with learning.
To help with that sometimes challenging endeavor, Disney Publishing Worldwide has launched a nationwide reading campaign that brings storytelling to kids’ fingertips. Fantasy Faire Opening March 12 at Disneyland Park

New details about Disneyland’s Fantasy Faire have been revealed, including the official opening date: March 12, 2013 to be exact!
One of the biggest features of Fantasy Faire will be the Royal Theatre. At the theatre, two Renaissance Storytellers – Mr. Smythe and Mr. Jones – will treat visitors to two unique stories based on Beauty and the Beast and Tangled.

Annie Leibovitz’s Latest Disney Portrait Features Taylor Swift as Rapunzel

In celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz’s latest Disney Dream Portrait, country crooner Taylor Swift poses as Rapunzel from Disney’s film Tangled.
Dressed in a flowing pink and purple gown with her trademark long locks, Swift looks exactly like the Disney version of the captivating princess. Swift joins a long line of celebrities who have posed for Leibovitz’s Disney Dream Portrait Series, including Russell Brand as “Captain Hook” and Jack Black, Will Ferrell and Jason Segel as the Hitchhiking Ghosts from Disney’s Haunted Mansion attraction.

Star Sighting: Mandy Moore Poses with Rapunzel at Disneyland Resort

Last week, Tangled star Mandy Moore stopped by the Disneyland Resort for a meet-and-greet with Rapunzel.
After posing for a photo, the singer/actress said she was looking forward to seeing Disneyland Resort decked out in its Halloween Time decor, and was really eager to check out Cars Land at Disney’s California Adventure.
Of course, no visit would be complete without a ride on Space Mountain – according to Moore, that is her favorite attraction.

Walt Disney Records to Release Spanish Language Versions of Popular Titles

In order to better serve their Hispanic audience, Walt Disney Records will be releasing five Spanish language albums of some of their popular titles, including the digital soundtracks to Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King. Additionally, the company will be releasing two Song & Story titles and a collection of Disney Princess songs.
