New Exhibit Unveiled in The Disney Gallery to Celebrate Disneyland’s Diamond Celebration

As part of the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration a new exhibit has recently opened at The Disney Gallery.
The exhibit – Drawing Disneyland: The Early Years – Imagineers Who Helped Bring Walt’s Dream To Life – was unveiled on May 22 during the 24-hour party at Disneyland the kicked off the Diamond Celebration.
The Disney Gallery is located in the lobby of The Disneyland Story presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.

The Disney Gallery at Disneyland Park to Debut Fantasyland-Inspired Artwork

Next month, guests can immerse themselves in the wonders of Fantasyland with new artwork created by Walt Disney Imagineers and Disney-inspired artists.
The Disney Gallery on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland Park will feature a variety of Fantasyland-inspired art from Imagineers Brian Crosby, Jim Crouch and Jeremy Fulton. Artwork will also be available from artists Steve Adams, Jody Daily, Jeff Granito, Katie Kelly, Maggie Parr, Jimmy Pickering, George Scribner, Darren Wilson and Yakovetic.
The artwork will be available in a variety of formats, including original artwork, deluxe prints and limited edition works. …

Merchandise Events Coming to Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland in May

There are several special merchandise events coming to Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland Park in May, so now would be a good time to clear some space on your calendar and make sure you’re at the park next month to experience these events for yourself.
First up, famed Miniaturist Robert Olszewski will be at the Disneyana Shop on May 5, where he will sign his new “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea” sculpture based on the attraction that originally appeared at Magic Kingdom park at Walt Disney World Resort.

New Exhibit to Celebrate the Art of Mary Blair and ‘It’s A Small World’

More than 4 decades have passed since the introduction of It’s A Small World, and it still remains one of the most famous attractions at Disney Parks.
While children and families alike continue to enjoy the attraction and the catchy song, the artwork that inspired the ride has never before been given the attention it well deserves. Jack Lindquist Book Signing to be Held May 1 at Disneyland

Fans of Disney history should be excited to learn that the legendary Jack Lindquist, the first president of Disneyland park, will be at The Disney Gallery Sunday, May 1, for a special book signing. Lindquists memoir, In Service To The Mouse, was released in December 2010 and became an instant classic.
The book describes in vivid detail all of the experiences Lindquist had over his 38-year career working for The Walt Disney Company, as well as his rise to president of Disneyland.

‘Magic on the Water’ Exhibit Opens at Disneyland Tomorrow Morning

Guests to Disneyland will get the first chance to see a brand new exhibit tomorrow morning, as Magic on the Water:  The Art of the “Happiest Fleet on Earth” opens with the park at The Disney Gallery.
