Disney Springs Adding More Retailers to the Lineup

This weekend is going to be very exciting at Disney Springs with the opening of several new restaurants in Town Center.
Over in The Landing neighborhood there are also a couple new shops that will be opening too including Savannah Bee Company and Filthy Rich.
The Savannah Bee Company sells a variety of specialty and “everyday” honey as well as body care products and more. The Disney Springs location opens May 15 and is the only storefront in Florida.
Filthy Rich is also opening May 15 and is the place to find celebrity-inspired …

Thirty New Tenants Announced for Disney Springs Including Retail Shops and Restaurants

Disney Springs just keeps growing and growing. This week, 30 new tenants were announced for the dining, shopping, and entertainment district.
Several of the shops are high-end retailers including Lacoste, kate spade new york, Sephora, Lucky Brand, and more.
Disney Springs is home to four neighborhoods: The Landing, Marketplace, West Side, and Town Center, and all are connected by a spring and waterfront.

The Ganachery Set to Open December 15 at The Landing in Disney Springs

Disney’s new specialty chocolate shop, The Ganachery, is scheduled to open December 15 at The Landing in Disney Springs.
According to Disney “the star of the show [at The Ganachery] is a custom-made ganache, a luxurious, proprietary mixture of melted chocolate and cream.”
Guests will be able to purchase both milk and dark chocolate items and the dark chocolate will feature 65 percent dark chocolate.
The Ganachery will also feature an in-house chocolatier who will greet guests when they enter the store. Guests will be encouraged to try one of the 16 ganaches …

Downtown Disney to Officially Be Renamed Disney Springs on September 29

After months of waiting, Downtown Disney will officially be known as Disney Springs next week.
A renaming ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, September 29 at Waterview Park at 5 p.m.
The official renaming will take place just one day before the grand opening of Morimoto Asia, a pan-Asian restaurant owned by Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto.
Signs surrounding Downtown Disney have been updated recently with the new moniker, as have signs on Interstate 4.

Town Center is Next Phase of Disney Springs Transformation Project

As the transformation of Downtown Disney into Disney Springs continues, the next phase of the project will be the Town Center.
This is a new district that will be created within Downtown Disney/Disney Springs and is currently under construction in an area that used to house a parking lot.
The stores that will occupy Town Center will be bigger than those open in The Landing.
The shops planned for the Town Center will reportedly be bigger, national brands but Disney isn’t saying anything specific about potential tenants.

The Boathouse: Great Food, Waterfront Dining, Dream Boats Opens at The Landing in Downtown Disney

The newest signature dining location is now open at The Landing in Downtown Disney.
The BOATHOUSE: Great Food, Waterfront Dining, Dream Boats officially opened on April 13 and features a menu that focuses on steaks, seafood, and chops.
The upscale, signature dining menu includes a raw bar that serves up to five varieties of oysters and Anastasia Gold caviar sourced from a farm in Pierson, Florida.

STK Orlando Headed to Disney Springs

Another new eatery has been announced for Disney Springs. STK Orlando will reportedly open in 2015 at The Landing area.
STK Orlando is described as a modern steakhouse with the ambiance of a sleek lounge. The restaurant is operated by The ONE Group Hospitality, Inc.
The Disney Springs location will be one of the largest STK locations in the world at 14,000 square feet.
