Baseline Tap House Opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a hotbed of construction projects right now with Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land both in the works.
But last week, a new pub opened in the former location of The Writer’s Stop in the new Grand Avenue area (built in what used to be part of the Streets of America).
Grand Avenue is meant to capture the spirit of modern-day Downtown Los Angeles and is home to vintage buildings and warehouses.

September Merchandise Events Announced for the Walt Disney World Resort

The month of September brings bright fall colors, Friday the 13th, and some incredible merchandise events to the Walt Disney World Resort.
Starting the month’s events is an artist showcase with Disney-inspired artist Greg McCullogh at the Art of Disney in the Downtown Disney Marketplace. This event happens September 4-8 from 1 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 10 p.m. each day. Greg will also be back at the end of month, on September 18 through the 22.

Disney Legend Marty Sklar to Meet Fans at Several Events at Disneyland and Walt Disney World

Disney Legend and retired Imagineering executive Marty Sklar has authored a new book Dream It! Do It!: My Half-Century Creating Disney’s Magic Kingdoms.
In the book, Sklar tells the story of his 50-year Disney career including working as Walt’s right-hand man and helping to open 9 of the 11 Disney parks around the world.
