Happy New Year!
Despite the fact that is was technically a holiday week, it’s been another busy week of news coming from the House of the Mouse.
Disney kicked off 2015 with a brand-new sweepstakes – the Flip Side Sweepstakes – and they’re picking one winner every day this month! The daily prize is a 5-day/4-night vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort and it includes an overnight stay in the Cinderella Castle suite!
Out in Disneyland they’re ringing in the New Year with the Three Kinds Day celebration which runs through January …

Three Kings Day Celebration Begins Today at Disneyland Resort

Today marks the beginning of the Three Kings Day celebration at the Disney California Adventure Park at Disneyland.
The celebration gives guests a chance to experience Disney ¡Viva Navidad! – the popular holiday event that features a colorful street party, authentic music, and traditional Mexican foods.
New for this year’s celebration is “The Spirit of Navidad” which is a storytelling performance by two bilingual musical artists. Guests will learn about the Latino traditions celebrated during Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and Dia de Los Reyes (Three Kings Day).

Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Returns to Disneyland for the Holiday Season

The Disney ¡Viva Navidad! experience has returned to the Disneyland Resort for a second year at Disney’s California Adventure.
The holiday entertainment experience of Disney ¡Viva Navidad! is inspired by the Latino culture and is filled with holiday traditions, dancing, and music. The experience takes place in the Paradise Garden area at Disney California Adventure and includes the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party.
Disney characters are also part of the celebration and guests will see Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, and the Three Caballeros – Donald Duck, Panchito, and Jose Carioca.

Disneyland Resort Brings Three Kings Day Celebration to Disney California Adventure Park

The holiday festivities at Disneyland Resort wrap up with the Three Kings Day celebration at Disney California Adventure Park from January 3-6.
This celebration is the grand finale of “Disney ¡Viva Navidad!” which was a celebration inspired by the Latino culture and was filled with holiday traditions, food, and music.

First ‘Limited Time Magic’ Events Announced for Walt Disney World and Disneyland

Can you believe that we’re just a few days away from the start of 2013? As we let you know a few months ago, Disney Parks will be celebrating throughout the new year with a brand-new promotion, Limited Time Magic. Celebrate Three Kings Day at Disneyland Park

For the second year in a row, the Three Kings Day celebration (or Día de los Reyes Magos) will return to Disneyland park.
The celebration will be moved to Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree, and feature Mariachi performers, festive Disney characters and fun food, dancing and entertainment. Children can also participate in the excitement with face painting, crafts and coloring.
The festival is slated to run January 4-6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. The full schedule of performers includes:

Disneyland Park Celebrates ‘Three Kings Day’ for the First Time

If celebrating Three Kings Day, or Día de los Reyes Magos as it is known in many Latin American countries, is part of your holiday, you’ll be happy to know that the celebration continues throughout this weekend at Disneyland Resort.
For the first time ever, Disneyland is celebrating this beloved holiday, which traditionally signals the end of the Christmas season.  The celebration marks the occasion when the three kings, or wise men, followed the star to Bethlehem and presented their valuable treasures of gold and incense to the Christ child.

Celebrate Three Kings Day at Disneyland Resort

The holiday season doesn’t end in December at Disneyland Resort, but instead continues until January with the celebration of Three Kings Day – also known as Día de los Reyes Magos.
This special event will be held January 6 through 8 at Disneyland Park, and will be the first time the park has celebrated this Latin American tradition. The holiday tradition is supposed to commemorate the journey the three wise men took to Bethlehem.
