Check Out the Holiday Celebrations at Disney Parks Around the World

It’s the holiday season at Disney Parks around the world!
In Disneyland Paris guests can check out the larger-than-life Advent Calendar in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle and enjoy the Disney Christmas Parade.
Over at the Walt Disney Studios Park, guests can enjoy Mickey’s Christmas Big Band show and the new Surprise Mickey!, along with Goofy’s Incredible Christmas at night.
Tokyo Disneyland is celebrating the holiday and its 35th anniversary with a Christmas tree featuring the 35th anniversary logo, and a new show at Tokyo DisneySea called “It’s Christmas Time.”

Toy Story Hotel Announced for Tokyo Disney Resort

A new Toy Story-themed hotel has been announced for the Tokyo Disney Resort.
The hotel was announced by the Oriental Land Co. Ltd., and will open to guests in the fiscal year 2021 (which runs from April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022).
The Toy Story hotel will feature 600 rooms and “everything will look like it is made of toys.” And, guests rooms will look like Andy’s bedroom from the films.
In addition to the as-yet-unnamed hotel, Oriental Land is also building a Fantasyland expansion at Tokyo Disneyland (expected in 2020), and …

Tokyo Disney’s 35th Anniversary Celebration Features New Entertainment

Tokyo Disney is celebrating its 35th anniversary with new entertainment options for guests.
The Dreaming Up! daytime parade and the Happiest Celebration on the Sea both premiered in April on the park’s anniversary and two new stage shows and a new nighttime show are also included in the celebration.
The daytime stage show Let’s Party Gras! takes place daily at Theatre Orleans in Tokyo Disneyland. The show features Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Goofy, Max, Clarice, and the Three Caballeros.

Tokyo Disneyland to Celebrate 35th Anniversary this Spring

Tokyo Disneyland is gearing up for its 35th anniversary celebration this spring.
The park opened on April 15, 1983, and was the first Disney theme park outside of the United States.
The anniversary celebration will take place from April 15, 2018 until March 25, 2019 and will happen at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.
At Tokyo Disneyland the World Bazaar will be transformed into Celebration Street and guests can enjoy a new daytime parade, Dreaming Up! and a new nighttime show, Celebrate Tokyo Disneyland.

New Scene from ‘The Last Jedi’ Coming to Star Tours – The Adventures Continue

A scene from Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be added to Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at several Disney Parks.
The scene is a battle scene that happens on the planet of planet of Crait, which fans got a glimpse of earlier this year in a teaser trailer of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
The new scene will debut at Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios on November 17.
It comes to Disneyland Paris on November 22, and Tokyo Disneyland on December 15.

Tokyo Disney Planning Special Events and More

If you’re making plans to visit Tokyo Disney soon, there are several exciting events and other additions happening this year.
On July 11, the Disney Pirates Summer kicks off at Tokyo DisneySea. This event is inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean films and including a new show – Pirates Summer Battle ‘Get Wet!’ – at Mediterranean Harbor, in addition to merchandise, food, and a Pirates Cantina Fiesta.
Duffy’s new friend StellaLou debuted last month and this summer she’s starring in the ‘Steps to Shine’ show at the American Waterfront.

Disney Parks Announce New Ambassadors for 2017

Disney Parks and Resorts has officially welcomed the new class of ambassadors for 2017-28.
Disney Parks Ambassadors are a tradition that goes back to Walt Disney.
The ambassadors act as spokespeople for the Disney Parks, lead community outreach and volunteer opportunities, and and act as ambassadors of goodwill representing the 135,000 cast members around the world.

Tokyo Disneyland Opens New Themed Area, Camp Woodchuck

Tokyo Disneyland recently opened a new themed area on the shores of the Rivers of America – Camp Woodchuck.
This area celebrates the wilderness with three members of the Junior Woodchucks of the World: Huey, Dewey, and Louie.
Camp Woodchuck is located in Westernland and guests have a chance to meet Donald Duck and Daisy Duck in a “unique, immersive environment.” The area is inspired by Disney comic books and short films.
While visiting with the characters guests can learn how to become Junior Woodchucks thanks to the hidden details and special touches.

Tokyo Disneyland to Get New Attractions Based on ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and ‘Big Hero 6’

The Oriental Land Co., Ltd. has announced some exciting developments for Tokyo Disneyland.
The theme park will expand Fantasyland with a new area inspired by Beauty and the Beast. This new area will feature a themed attraction, merchandise shop, and restaurant.
The attraction will take guests on a journey seated in enchanted dishes into Beast’s castle while trying to break the spell to help make Beast human again.
Tokyo Disneyland’s Tomorrowland will get a new ride inspired by Big Hero 6 featuring Baymax on a “whip ride” that swings guests around.

Celebrate Easter at Tokyo Disneyland Beginning March 25

It might still be the middle of winter but it isn’t too early to start thinking about springtime at the Disney Parks.
And Tokyo Disneyland is ready to celebrate spring and Easter beginning March 25.
The “Disney’s Easter” celebration will run through the spring until June 15 and includes several special events.
Guests can enjoy the new Hippity-Hoppity Springtime parade featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and friends dressed in their springtime best complete with bunny ears. The parade features three stops so Mickey can host an egg race.
