This week, Disney gave us a better idea of their current slate of upcoming films, as Walt Disney Studios announced a series of release dates over the next few years. The announcement gave us the release dates for Disney’s upcoming Into the Woods, Saving Mr. Banks, some currently unannounced Marvel projects, and more.

Production Begins on Disney’s ‘Million Dollar Arm’ – Film Slated for 2014 Release

Production has started on a new Disney film starring Jon Hamm. The based-on-a-true-story film, Million Dollar Arm is set to film in India, Georgia, and Los Angeles.

New Posters Released for ‘The Lone Ranger’

This summer will bring the release of Disney’s The Lone Ranger, which stars Armie Hammer in the title role with Johnny Depp as Tonto. This week, five new posters were released for the film, giving us another look at this exciting new adaptation.
In addition to a new teaser poster released for American audiences, four new international posters were released in Japan. The four posters each focus on one specific character, featuring Hammer as the Lone Ranger, Depp as Tonto, Helena Bonham-Carter as Red Harrington, and Tom Wilkinson as Latham Cole.

‘Tomorrowland’ With George Clooney Casts Lead Actress

Staff Cuts Expected at Walt Disney Company Amid Reorganization
