Tickets on Sale For Special Events at Walt Disney World

Tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and the Night of Joy went on sale Wednesday, May 1.
Night of Joy is a contemporary Christian music festival taking place in the Magic Kingdom and featuring performances by contemporary Christian rock, pop, and gospel artists. The festival is scheduled for September 6 and 7 this year. Tickets are $55 for all ages.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is scheduled for select days from September 10  through November 1. The event includes Mickey’s “Boo To You” Halloween Parade, Happy Hallowishes fireworks …

Walt Disney World Announces 2012 Star Wars Weekends Dates

Are you a Disney fan who also loves Star Wars? You might want to head down to Walt Disney World this summer and take part in Star Wars Weekends, an annual event held at Disney’s Hollywood Studios that celebrates the Star Wars film saga and the animated TV show Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Yesterday, Disney announced the 2012 dates for this exciting event, which includes special events and experiences that Star Wars fans will definitely want to check out.

Bill Nye the Science Guy to Visit Epcot this Wednesday

Did you know that it was National Engineers Week?  We confess we did – thanks to PBS and Disney!
And to honor and mark this week, which highlights the fields of applied math, science, and engineering, Walt Disney World has put together special sessions, which are being held at Epcot.  Headlining the talks on Wednesday will be Bill Nye, who is known best for his television series, “Bill Nye the Science Guy,” as well as his children’s books.  Nye is also featured, along with Ellen DeGeneres, in Epcot’s Ellen’s Energy Adventure.
