Sunday will be the last day Walt Disney World guests will be able to ride the “Test Track,” as it will be closing for a months-long renovation project.
While few details about the makeover have been released, in January sources announced the ride would be refurbished to be a more “design-centric” riding experience presented by Chevrolet. The theatrical debut of The Avengers is just a few months away, and this week, Disney Parks announced one way that Walt Disney World guests will be seeing its presence in the parks very soon. After nearly three years of negotiations regarding themes, format, pricing, menu choices and operating hours, Splitsville has finally signed a deal with Disney officials to open a new location in Walt Disney World’s Downtown Disney.
The new venue will be a billiards, bowling and dining nightlife entertainment center, and will take over the location previously occupied by Virgin Records. The two-story building will be able to accommodate up to 750 people and offer 30 bowling lanes for guests.
