Epcot will play host to a special group of “Healthy Living Champions” this weekend, as Disney kicks off Disney Magic of Healthy Living – the Weekend  today through March 20 at Walt Disney World.
The fifty boys and girls, who range in age from 8-14, were winners of Disney Magic of Healthy Living essay contest, and will be joined by their families, as well as stars of Disney Channel shows and Disney characters in a fun-filled weekend celebrating healthy living initiatives.

Selena Gomez wants to clear the air regarding her recent outing with teen sensation Justin Bieber:  “It was just pancakes!”
The “Wizards of Waverly Place” star said that the pictures of her arm in arm with Bieber leaving a Philadelphia IHOP on December 8 were of a simple snack attack, and nothing more, as some have claimed.  “We were both performing in the same place so we went and had pancakes together,” Gomez clarified.

Selena Gomez, star of Disney Channel’s The Wizards of Waverly Place, celebrated the anniversary of UNICEF’s Trick-or-Treat Campaign last night by performing a private acoustic concert.   The show took place at the Roxy Theater in West Hollywood and benefited the popular program, which turns sixty this year. 
Eighteen year-old Gomez was appointed the youngest UNICEF ambassador in the United States in 2009.  This year marks her third consecutive year as the Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF National Spokesperson.

The Creative Arts Emmys 2010 were awarded last night, and Disney/ABC’s achievements in television this year were not forgotten. While HBO was the top winner of the night, earning 17 awards, ABC led the broadcast networks with 15 awards.
