Disney’s D-Tech Brand Launches November 20th

File this one under “Gifts to Get Your Favorite Gadget Lover Who Also Loves All Things Disney.”

We are a nation of gadget lovers.  Even those among us who swore we would never have need of a phone with a camera (let alone a smart phone) are understanding that we need to hop on the float before the technology parade passes us by.

But just because we like, nay need, these gadgets, well, they don’t have to look so…gadgety.

Enter Disney!

This past summer, Disney began offering a limited selection of electronic accessories, things meant to personalize and bring whimsy to laptops, iPhones, and the like.  Styled with an urban, graphic-style design (think graffiti), the line was an immediate success – so much so, that Disney has created a new brand of electronic accessories, appropriately named D-Tech.

D-Tech will have its official launch on November 20 and will be (at first, anyway) exclusively available at the World of Disney stores at both Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California.  Expansion of the line will include cases for the iPhone 4 (previously, cases were only available for the iPhone 3GS), and the iPad, plus other items, like soft-side, zippered laptop sleeves.  Artwork will be exanded as well to appeal to a wider range of customers.

D-Tech is set to introduce even more products in February 2011.  While mum is the word on exactly what products are in the pipeline, there are hints that more phone accessories might be coming.

It does seem like a great Christmas gift option for that hard-to-buy-for-techie-Disney lover on your list.
