The Muppets Take Manhattan As NYC Family Ambassadors

Are you and your family thinking about heading to New York City in the near future? The Muppets might be able to help you with that. This week, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced that this year, the Muppets will be acting as the official New York City Family Ambassadors.

For the next 12 months, the Muppets will be encouraging families to visit NYC and highlight some of the extraordinary shopping, dining, attractions, shows, and more that the Big Apple has to offer. Prospective visitors can head over to the official NYC Go website right now to check out some tips, facts, and other information about the city straight from some of our favorite Muppets.

On Friday, Mayor Bloomberg announced this exciting news in a press conference, where he was joined live by none other than Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Gonzo the Great, and Pepe the King Prawn.
