The Week in Disney News: Disney Announces Hurricane Harvey Donations, Slink Dog Dash Ride Vehicle Arrives, and More

In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, The Walt Disney Company has pledged $1 million to the relief fund of the American Red Cross.

Disney’s Fort Wilderness is hosting a ‘Return to Sleepy Hollow’ Halloween event on select nights in September and October.

The 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival kicked off Thursday and there are new Disney Gift Card designs available plus a limited-edition $200 Disney Gift Card set. Guests can also check out new and returning musical acts throughout World Showcase during the Festival.

The entertainment schedule has been announced for next weekend’s Disney Night of Joy two-night musical event.

And finally, the first ride vehicle for the Slinky Dog Dash at Disney’s Hollywood Studios arrived last week! The new family-friendly coaster is located in Toy Story Land which is slated to open in the summer of 2018.
