The Week in Disney News – Food & Wine Festival Updates, Candlelight Processional Narrators Announced, and Disney Princess Half Marathon News

food and wineIt’s hard to believe that we’re almost to the halfway point of July, but that just means that we’re getting closer to the 20th Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.

Last week we learned more about this year’s festival including the news that the cast of ABC’s The Chew will be filming episodes of the show during the festival. And, there will be at least two new booths – this time in Future World.

The fall also brings the Candlelight Processional to Epcot starting on November 27. The list of narrators for this year’s event have been released and guests can also start booking the Candlelight Processional dining packages.

Disneyland is still in the middle of celebrating its Diamond Anniversary and July 17 is the big day – which means a lot of Diamond Celebration merchandise will be available starting July 13. Pin collectors will want to check out the new pins arriving for the celebration!

While Star Wars fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in December we learned this week that one of the stand-alone films will tell the story of everyone’s favorite scoundrel, Han Solo.

And runners need to lace up those running shoes as the registration for the 2016 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend opens July 14 at noon E.T.
