The Week in Disney News – Star Wars Land Updates, Disneyland’s Pirates Celebrate 50 Years, and More

atatHappy last Sunday of winter! It was another busy week full of Disney news, so let’s dive in and see what’s happening!

Disney gave guests an update on the Star Wars Land construction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland, including a photo of AT-AT’s under construction!

St. Patrick’s Day celebrations were happening all around Disney World, including the Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival at Raglan Road in Disney Springs.

Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean celebrated its 50th anniversary this weekend with specialty food items and more!

March Magic returns for 2017 and guests can purchase merchandise inspired by their favorite teams throughout the entire tournament.

The Dress Shop at Cherry Tree Lane opens at the end of this month at the Marketplace Co-Op in Disney Springs. The boutique will sell dresses and accessories inspired by classic Disney attractions and characters.

And finally, a new Disney Junior Dance Party is coming to Disney California Adventure in May!
