The Week in Disney News: The Muppets at the Magic Kingdom, Tower of Terror Changes, and More

muppetsWelcome to the last day of July! It’s been another busy week of Disney news on both coasts so let’s dive right in!

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney California Adventure is getting a makeover! The attraction is closing in early 2017 and will reopen in the summer of 2017 as Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: Breakout.

runDisney gave us a sneak peek at the finisher medals for the inaugural Disneyland Paris Half Marathon!

The Walt Disney Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic announced a couple new events for this year’s festival in addition to the new Champagne Brunch. It all sounds delish!

If you’re headed to Walt Disney World in August there is a great slate of merchandise events planned at Disney Springs and Epcot. You’ll definitely want to check them out.

The Muppets are heading to the Magic Kingdom this fall with a brand new show, The Muppets Present…Great Moments in American History. The show will be performed every day in front of the Hall of Presidents in Liberty Square.

And finally, Flying Fish is slated to reopen on August 3 on Disney’s BoardWalk after a refurbishment and slight name change. Reservations are now available.
