This Week in Disney News – ‘Frozen’ comes to DHS, Summer Rocks, and Epcot Snacks

frozen dhsIt’s summer at Walt Disney World, which means somewhere Olaf is one very happy snowman.

Speaking of everyone’s favorite summer-loving talking snowman, Olaf and his Frozen friends are making a stop at Disney’s Hollywood Studios this summer, and that’s just one of the big news stories we covered last week.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios – The Place to be this Summer

Perhaps the biggest news of the week – if you’re a fan of all things Frozen – is that Anna and Elsa are headed to the Studios for a special Frozen Summer Fun event that runs through September 1!  The icy cool sisters will arrive in the “Hollywood kingdom” each morning via horse-drawn sleigh (natch!), accompanied by Kristoff, Olaf, and ice cutters.

The Frozen Summer Fun event also includes a Frozen Sing-Along celebration and a Frozen Funland that features Oaken’s trading post, and a nightly fireworks display featuring music from the hit film.

And if that’s not enough to get you to the Studios this summer, the theme park is also hosting a Rock Your Summer Side dance party every night from 6-10 p.m. through August 22.

Snack Your Way Through Epcot

If you happen to find yourself visiting Epcot this summer, make sure you have your copy of the Disney Food Blog’s Guide to Epcot Snacks e-book, 2014 Edition! The DFB Guide to Epcot Snacks e-book is an instantly downloadable book that can be added to your smartphone or tablet for easy access at the park.

Summer Fun at Walt Disney World
