f&g 2015Can you believe it’s almost the end of January? That means we’re getting closer to spring which means we’re getting closer to the start of the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival!

This year’s Flower and Garden Festival will feature an all-new Garden Rocks Concert Series! The concerts include artists that have played the festival before in addition to new bands and a couple bands familiar to guests at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival! The concerts kick off with the Gin Blossoms on March 6.

Speaking of festivals, the dates were also announced for this fall’s Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic! This foodie favorite is taking place over Halloween weekend at the Swan and Dolphin. We’ll post more details later this year.

The very popular Magic Kingdom attraction Peter Pan’s Flight is getting an updated and interactive standby queue! The new queue will feature a 3D Tinker Bell, an interactive shadow wall, and guests can even create pixie dust just by clapping their hands!

Some not-so-magical news from the West Coast – California health officials are asking non-vaccinated guests to avoid visiting Disneyland for the time being. At least 59 people have been diagnosed with measles in the the state since December and 42 of those cases are connected to Disneyland.

And finally some news from the high seas! Frozen is coming to Disney Cruise Line this summer as Anna, Elsa, and Olaf will be meeting guests on several DCL ships and there’s also a new port adventure in Norway for guests aboard the Disney Magic.
