This Week in Disney News – Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, More Holiday News, and ‘Toy Story 4’

mvmcp 1One week into November and it’s officially Christmas time at the Magic Kingdom!

The first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party kicked off the holiday season on November 7.

New to the party this year is a special Frozen-themed castle lighting show with Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff. And, everyone’s favorite Pumpkin King, Jack Skellington, is meeting guests as Sandy Claws.

Guests attending the holiday party can pick up a special Elsa ‘Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom’ card at the Firehouse on Main Street U.S.A.

Speaking of the holidays, our friends at the Disney Food Blog have a great post up showcasing their Disney Holiday Gift Guide! You’ll want to check out all the great photos of Disney holiday merchandise available at the parks. And as we’re heading into the final week of the 2014 Epcot Food and Wine Festival the DFB gives us a delicious recipe from the Poland Marketplace.

But perhaps out of all the Disney news from around the World this week, the biggest came late in the week when it was announced that the new Star Wars movie had an official title – The Force Awakens – and Pixar is making Toy Story 4.
