This Week in Disney News – Ticket Price Increase, Flower and Garden News, and Lots of New Merchandise!

f&g2 2015It’s March! And this can only mean one thing – the 2015 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival starts this week!

This year’s festival includes all-new Frozen topiaries, new menu items at the Outdoor Kitchens, and for the first time ever, free cooking demos from Disney chefs!

These demos are scheduled to take place every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during the Flower and Garden Festival.

If you’re planning on attending the Flower and Garden Festival this year – or if you’re buying theme parks tickets just to visit the parks – you’re going to be paying a little bit more!

Disney raised the price of a one-day park ticket at all four theme parks last week. A one-day ticket to the Magic Kingdom is now $105 plus tax.

It was a big week for Disney Parks merchandise news too! Disney announced that the WonderGround Gallery is expanding at Downtown Disney’s Marketplace Co-Op (taking over the space formerly used by Beautifully Disney), plus there’s a new line of handbags in the Disney Collection by Vera Bradley, and a new line of Disney Pandora charms are arriving this month too!

We hope you had a magical week and we can’t wait to see what kind of news this week brings! Stay tuned to DisZine for all the Disney news every week. And be sure to follow us on Twitter and like us over on Facebook.
