tangled musicalHappy Easter to our fans! It’s been another busy week at the Walt Disney World Resort (and beyond) so let’s dive right in to this week’s news as we nosh on a chocolate bunny (ears first, of course).

The week started off with some huge news out of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! The much-anticipated Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto is currently in “soft opening” and guests were lining up for hours last weekend just to get inside and order a Shrunken Zombie Head.

The Walt Disney World Resort has a full slate of special merchandise events planned for April, including a new pin release (sounds like it could be Avengers pins) and some artist signings at the new WonderGround Gallery. Speaking of pins, a new collection of Hidden Mickey pins are headed to Disneyland and Walt Disney World this month so if you’re a pin collector this news is for you!

The Richard Petty Driving Experience has a new official closing date – August 9. The last ride of the day will be auctioned off with all proceeds going to Give Kids the World.

And finally, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider are headed out to sea! Tangled: The Musical will make its stage debut on the Disney Magic this November! We can’t wait to see the Maximus puppet!
