Tokyo Disneyland Adds Fantasmic

Tokyo DisneySea Fantasmic Concept ArtTokyo DisneySea® Park has announced that it’s bringing its very own nighttime spectacular “Fantasmic!” to Japan! The show will premiere in April 2011 in honor of the Tokyo DisneySea 10th Anniversary.

The show will take place in Mediterranean Harbor, and will feature Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice fighting an evil dragon, as usual. The show will include scenes from Disney films such as Aladdin, Cinderella and Finding Nemo. Water screens and special fire effects will be included in the show as well, like they are in other versions of “Fantasmic!”

Duration: Approximately 20 minutes
Location: On the waters of Mediterranean Harbor
Opening: April 2011 (date not yet determined)
Investment: Approximately 3 billion yen

Note: “BraviSEAmo!” , the nighttime show currently being presented, will end on November 13, 2010 in preparation for the new show.
