Tom Hanks Confirms More Toy Story to Come – in Two Separate Interviews

Tom Hanks and Tim Allen at the "Toy Story 3" Premiere

We may not have seen the last of Woody and the Gang.  Yippee!

Recently, Tom Hanks was interviewed by the BBC regarding the release of his latest film, Larry Crowne.  As the subject came around to Toy Story, the interviewer asked if Hanks’ new granddaughter would get to see a fourth installment to the critically acclaimed and wildly popular Disney Pixar franchise.  Hanks’ response:

“I think there will be, yeah. Yeah, yeah. I think they’re working on it now,”

At first, the vague comments were widely considered to be a reference to future Toy Story shorts, like the Hawaiian Vacation short currently showing with Cars 2.  However, yesterday, the actor told Showbiz Tonight that Toy Story 4 is on:

“I understand it’s happening and if it is, I hope they’ll hire me [again].  They have almost every line I’ve ever said in the hard drive up there at Pixar. So they might not need me! I hope they’ll have some unique grunts they’re going to need from me so I can get in there and do it.”

What are your thoughts about a fourth Toy Story?
