Top Chicago FBI Agent Robert Grant Retiring to Work for Disney

Robert D. Grant, Special-Agent-in-Charge of the Chicago office of the FBI, is retiring from public service and taking a position as part of Walt Disney Co.’s security team.

Grant announced his retirement on Monday, and will be officially leaving his position September 3. In a press release, Grant said:

I have witnessed the FBI do some amazing things. It has grown and stretched in ways I never thought possible. What I have come to realize is there is almost nothing the FBI cannot do when it sets a proper course and supports its tremendous people. There isn’t a day that goes by where I am not impressed and amazed at the work of the men and women of this organization, who I will miss greatly.

Grant joined the Chicago agency in 2004, and is one of the longest-serving special agents in charge in the country.
