TUBACHRiSTMAS Arriving at Downtown Disney District This Week

For the past six years, TUBACHRISTMAS has been taking the Downtown Disney District by storm, and this year will be no exception. On Wednesday, December 21, TUBACHRISTMAS will be hosted at the Downtown Disney District and invites all tuba and euphonium players to come out and help them set a world record.

This exciting event brings together musicians of all ages and skill levels to perform classic Holiday tunes arranged specifically for these instruments, and last year they even broke a world record for the most tuba players ever performing in this world-wide tradition.

This year, the youngest tuba player is a mere 8 years old, while the oldest will be 82. Stan Freese, the event producer and Resort Talent Booking and Casting Director, says:

It’s fun, it’s free, and you won’t see something like this in just any shopping mall.

The even will be held December 21, and registration will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The rehearsal will start at 10 a.m. and last until 1 p.m., while the actual performance will take place at 2 p.m. in front of the ESPN Zone. Even if you don’t play the tuba, make sure to come watch this annual Downtown Disney District event this week.
