We already let you know about Mariah Carey’s Fairy Godmother appearance at the Disney Fantasy Christening a few days ago, but now we have something else to share from the star-studded ceremony. Prior to the official christening of the boat, attendees were treated to a very special show in the ship’s Walt Disney Theatre, hosted by Broadway, TV, and film actor Neil Patrick Harris.
The event, which also included appearances by New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg and Jerry Seinfeld, who joked: “Oh my god, I’m on a boat. Finally, I get to see what the end of my career will be like.” But perhaps the highlight was a high-energy musical performance by the Disney Fantasy performers and Neil Patrick Harris.
The performance used humor and classic Disney songs to gently parody Disney Cruise Line, with such songs as “At the Buffet” to the tune of “Under the Sea.” Check out a clip from this “Super Splashy Synergistic Glitzy Celebration” for yourself below:
