Walt Disney World Celebrating Attractions of Yesteryear at D23 Destination D: Attraction Rewind

d23 attraction rewindD23: The Official Disney Fan Club is celebrating Disney attractions of yesteryear this fall at the D23 Destination D: Attraction Rewind event.

Attractions including ‘If You Had Wings,’ ‘Adventure Thru Inner Space,’ ’20,000 Leagues Under the Sea,’ and others will be remembered through stories, vintage videos, and concept art.

The two-day event takes place November 22 and 23 at the Walt Disney World Resort. One full day of the event will be dedicated to the New York World’s Fair of 1964-65 – the same fair where ‘it’s a small world’ and ‘Carousel of Progress’ debuted.

Disney Legends including Marty Sklar, Bob Gurr, and Alice Davis will be on hand for presentations and panels in honor of the 50th anniversary of the 1964-65 World’s Fair.

An exhibit presented by The Walt Disney Archives is also being created for Destination D.

The weekend will end with a special nighttime party called Pleasure Island: Rewind inspired by the Downtown Disney district. This party will feature areas dedicated to the Adventurers Club, Comedy Warehouse, 8 Trax, and more.

Tickets for D23 Destination D: Attraction Rewind go on sale for D23 Gold and Silver members on April 16 at 10 a.m .PT. Tickets are $190 each. Any remaining tickets will be made available to D23 Free members on May 28 at 10 a.m. PT for $250 per ticket.
