Walt Disney World Resort Prepares for Magical Holiday Season

holidays at wdwToday might be Halloween, but that doesn’t mean it’s too early to start thinking about the holiday season at the Walt Disney World Resort.

This year guests can enjoy parties, decorations, and more at the theme parks and Disney Springs.

At the Magic Kingdom the holiday season kicks off November 7 with the very first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party of the season. The dates for this year are: November 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 18, 27, and 29, and December 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 18, and 22. For tickets visit the Disney Parks website.

MVMCP will feature the all-new Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration and Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. Regular, non-party holiday events include A Frozen Holiday Wish (Castle Dream Lights) and Holiday Wishes.

Epcot is celebrating the holiday season with all new Holidays Around the World Marketplaces where guests can enjoy special holiday foods from around the world. The holidays also include entertainment in the World Showcase pavilions, the Candlelight Processional, and more.

The Candlelight Processional runs November 25 through December 30 and narrators for this year include Whoopi Goldberg, Neil Patrick Harris, Stephen Curtis Chapman, and more.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is celebrating with the new nighttime spectacular Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!, which premieres on November 14 and runs through December 31. A new dessert party is also part of the celebrations and reservations are available by calling 407-WDW-DINE or online.

And Disney Springs is getting into the holiday spirit with its all-new Christmas Tree Trail.

At Disney’s Contemporary Resort the Gingerbread Holiday Ice Castle inspired by Frozen will be on display. The life-size gingerbread house is returning to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and the life-size gingerbread carousel will be on display at Disney’s Beach Club Resort.
