toystorymaniaIf you are visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios this week and want to ride Toy Story Midway Mania, you better have a FastPass+.

The Walt Disney World resort is testing an experimental system where only guests who have a FastPass+ will be able to ride the very popular attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

This test runs through Thursday, October 9 according to several reports.

In recent months Disney has also tried the same “FastPass+ only” system for the Anna and Elsa meet-and-greet at the Magic Kingdom.

If guests don’t have a FastPass+ reservation for Toy Story Midway Mania, cast members are reportedly handing out additional FastPasses to meet guest demand.

In other FastPass news, it is being reported by several sources that only guests with FastPass+ reservations for Be Our Guest at the Magic Kingdom are able to dine at the restaurant. There are no walk-ups being allowed at the present time. There is no official word yet from Disney as to how long this will continue.
