Walt Disney World to Offer Free In-Park WiFi in Epcot This Summer

4 June 2012 No Comment

A few weeks ago, we let you know about a brand-new experience coming to Epcot this summer, Brave – The Highland Games Tournament. While kids are off enjoying the many games and other offerings from this exciting new event, however, Disney is providing a special perk for adults: free in-park WiFi.

As part of the Highland Games Tournament, Epcot will be offering a special station with free WiFi that allows guests to stay connected even while in the park. This WiFi hotspot will be located in tents around the Highland Games play area, allowing adults to escape from the summer heat with some much-needed shade as they go online. While Walt Disney World currently offers free WiFi to resort guests, this hotspot is the first time free WiFi has been accessible inside a Disney theme park.

Brave – The Highland Games Tournament began on June 1 in Epcot and will run until July 8, 2012. The event runs daily from 11:00 AM-7:00 PM on the Rose Garden Walkway from Future World to World Showcase.
