poohIn honor of the 90th anniversary of Winne-the-Pooh and the 90th birthday of Her Majesty The Queen, a new video, Winnie-the-Pooh and the Royal Birthday, has been released.

The brand new story was written to celebrate these two occasions and can downloaded for free at WinnieThePooh.Disney.com. The 90th anniversary of Winnie-the-Pooh will be officially celebrated in October.

The video is narrated by Oscar winner Jim Broadbent and tells the story of Pooh’s first-ever meeting of the Royal Family.

In the story Pooh and his friends embark on a journey from the Hundred Acre Wood to London so they can deliver 90th birthday presents to The Queen.

This is not the first time Winnie-the-Pooh has been connected with the Royal Family. The 1926 book Teddy Bear and the Other Songs from When We Were Very Young was dedicated to Princess Elizabeth upon her birth. But the story for the 90th anniversary is the first time Pooh has “met” Her Majesty.

You can check out the video here.
