Dining at Disney’s BoardWalk

Disney’s BoardWalk offers a number of unique experiences, including dining establishments. Whether you are looking for a quick bite to eat, a snack or a full sit-down meal, you will find a restaurant to suit your needs at the BoardWalk.

Open for lunch and dinner, Big River Grille and Brewing Works is the only working brewpub at Walt Disney World Resort. The restaurant features spacious indoor seating as well as patio seats for guests who want to take in the sights and sounds of the boardwalk while they dine. Another unique touch are the floor-to-ceiling glass walls, which allow diners a peek at the brewing process – you can watch a brew master at work, crafting the restaurant’s signature beers. A selection of sandwiches,  salads, contemporary pub favorites and a kids menu are available. Their special root beer, perfect for minors, is also brewed on-site.

For a gourmet dining experience, try Kouzzina. Kouzzina (Greek for “kitchen”) was created by celebrity chef Cat Cora and serves a variety of Mediterranean dishes like oak-grilled steak and pork, calamari, Greek salads, lamb dishes and more. For dessert, diners can sample baklava or house-made Greek donuts. Adult guests can also pair one of Cat Cora’s hand-selected alcoholic beverages with their meal, such as the signature Mediterranean sangria or Cat’s private label Californian wines.

In the mood for seafood? The Flying Fish Cafe is a signature restaurant located at Disney’s BoardWalk, and diners can watch their meal being prepared right before their eyes at the on-stage kitchen. The restaurant decor is also designed to resemble an Atlantic Boardwalk, complete with decorative roller coaster tracks, flying fish, a backlit ferris wheel and fun house mirrors.

The Flying Fish Cafe works to serve inventive, signature seafood and meat dishes such as oak-grilled steak, potato-wrapped snapper, crab cakes and more. A huge selection of hand-picked wines is also available to pair with your meal. The restaurant also offers a special “Dine with an Imagineer” experience, where you can enjoy a delicious meal and talk with one of the imaginative artists that brings magic to the Walt Disney World Resort.

For the sports fanatic, the ESPN Club offers the ultimate in dining and sports entertainment. Located at the edge of Crescent Lake, this restaurant features 100 video monitors with satellite feeds to help you catch the action of your favorite game. American favorites like burgers, wings, sandwiches and more are served, as well as an extensive collection of beers and specialty drinks. A jam-packed arcade filled with sports video games is also on the premises.

The BoardWalk also has a poolside bar, named Leaping Horse Libations. This full-service bar features a variety of specialty cocktails like the “Funhouse” or “Tilt-a-Whirl,” but also serves non-alcoholic beverages and snacks as well.
