Dining at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon

One of two water parks located at Walt Disney World Resort, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon has plenty of fun to be had for the whole family. In between attractions, you can stop by one of the park’s many food carts and quick-service stands for a bite to eat and a cold beverage.

Your first stop may be the Crush Hot Dog Cart, which in addition to its namesake, also sells pretzels, turkey legs, ice cream bars, chips and cold beverages. The Surf Doggie Hot Dog Cart also sells hot dogs, turkey legs, and specialty ice cream novelties. For a more adventurous ice cream treat, the Happy Landings Ice Cream Shop features a variety of ice cream treats that are sure to please. Try their Garbage Pail Sundae (a mixture of all of the ice cream flavors and toppings) that you actually eat out of a sand pail!

For a more substantial meal, stop by the Leaning Palms. Here, you’ll find classic American fare like burgers, pizza, wraps, hot dogs, chips, french fries and fruit. Wash down your meal with a cold soft drink or beer for adult guests. They also serve coffee drinks and offer a special kid’s menu for the little ones.

While the kids are at play, the adults can stop by Typhoon Lagoon’s Let’s Go Slurpin’ for a specialty frozen cocktail to sip poolside. Try the grand margarita, banana cabana or Caribbean mango punch or sip on a selection of draft or bottled beer. For salads, pizza, burgers, sandwiches and dogs, stop by Lowtide Lou’s (open seasonally.) Other sundries, such as towels, snacks, and sunscreen, are also sold here.

For a quick meal or snack, Typhoon Tilly’s is a must. Choose from fried fish, chicken nuggets, a bbq pork sandwich, chili dog, wraps, sides and desserts at this popular quick-service eatery. They also offer a selection of refreshing beverages to pair with your meal, including soft drinks, draft beer, hot cocoa, and coffee.

Adults who need a jolt of caffeine can stop by Typhoon Lagoon’s Coffee Stand, which serves specialty coffee drinks, cappuccino, and espresso, as well as flavored lattes. Additionally, you can grab assorted pastries here to go with your beverage, as well as hot chocolate, bottled water and frozen smoothies.

Whether you just want a quick bite to eat or sip a cocktail poolside, you’ll find something to sate your cravings at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon.
