Dining at Walt Disney World’s Swan Resort

From American classics to Japanese cuisine, Walt Disney World’s Swan Resort offers plenty of unique and exciting dining establishments for you to try.

At Garden Grove, a Central Park-themed restaurant, you can enjoy an array of breakfast, lunch and dinner selections. Diners are treated to a magnificent 25-foot oak tree that stands in the middle of the restaurant, as well as charming decor like old-fashioned street lamps. On Saturdays and Sundays, you can enjoy a themed breakfast buffet while nightly dinner buffets also have their own themes, as well as special character dining opportunities.

For a taste of Japanese fare, visit Kimonos, an elegant restaurant that’s magnificently decorated with kimonos and dark teakwood. This authentic Japanese sushi restaurants allows you to watch professional on-stage sushi chefs prepare your creations, and they serve everything from shrimp tempura rolls to spicy rainbow rolls. A selection of appetizers and soups are also available to round out your meal. During the evening, Kimonos transforms into a raucous karaoke bar so get ready to sing your heart out, sip on sake or another Japanese-inspired cocktail and socialize until midnight.

In the mood for Italian? Stop by Il Mulino New York Trattoria for authentic Italian dishes from the old world spun with a contemporary twist. A variety of antipasti are available to start your meal, including prosciutto and melon, oyster, clam and mussels platters and more. For an entree, choose from a variety of traditional favorites such as mushroom or seafood risotto, wood-fired pizzas, pasta, fish, chicken and beef entrees. If your party contains 4 or more guests, you can choose to dine family-style, where platters of food will be brought to your table to share amongst your group.

There’s also an extensive wine list for guests 21 and older, but make sure you leave room for dessert too – Italian style cheesecake, gelato and sorbet are just some of the delectable choices available. For those who aren’t in the mood for a meal, you can simply relax at the restaurant’s wine bar or lounge while sipping a glass of wine or a cocktail while enjoying the view of a quaint courtyard setting.

Unlike some of the pool bars at the Walt Disney World Resort,  the Swan Resort offers a full-service poolside bar that serves a variety of beverages as well as light entrees and appetizers. Choose from soups, salads, wraps, burgers, gyros and more. Make sure to pair your meal with one of their inventive cocktails, such as the Banana Split, Bomb Pop or Sunset Rita. They also offer a child’s menu featuring a cheeseburger, hot dog, chicken fingers or grilled cheese.
