Eating at Epcot

Epcot, one of four theme parks located at the Walt Disney World Resort, offers plenty of unique eating establishments to choose from. With a wide variety of cuisine to choose from, visitors can find something to suit any palate.

The Coral Reef Restaurant, located in The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion, serves delicious seafood fare for both lunch and dinner. Additional choices include New York strip steak, chicken and vegetable dishes. When dining at Coral Reef, guests will also experience a fantastic view of the largest inland saltwater environment ever built, which contains 85 different species of fish!

If you head over to the Canada Pavilion, you’ll find Le Cellier Steakhouse. This intimate restaurant was designed to look like a wine cellar and features regional lunch and dinner selections such as Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup, pan-seared seafood, steaks, and prime rib. A large children’s menu is also available, with plenty of selections for picky eaters.

For authentic French fare, visit Les Chefs de France, a restaurant located in the France pavilion. Open for both lunch and dinner, the restaurant serves traditional French appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The entrees will change seasonally, but can include such fare as roasted duck or broiled salmon. An extensive list of regional wines is also available to help complement your meal.

In the China Pavilion, the Nine Dragons Restaurant blends modern and traditional Chinese cuisine like kung pao chicken, shrimp and chicken egg rolls, and five-spiced fish. The decor offers authentic ambiance as well; upon entering the restaurant, guests are greeted with a gorgeous glass mural depicting two dragons chasing a pearl.

For something a little different, head over to the Morocco Pavilion to Restaurant Marrakesh. The Taste of Morocco: Royal Feast will give guests plenty of delicious North Mediterranean dishes to choose from and a full bar can mix unique cocktails to pair with your meal. Additionally, this sultan’s-palace themed dining establishment also has belly dancers to entertain you while you dine.

In the United Kingdom Pavilion, the Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room will delight patrons with authentic UK favorites for both lunch and dinner, such as bangers and mash, vegetable curry and fish and chips. A good selection of desserts is also available to compliment your entrees. During the evening, a piano player will entertain guests and is the perfect time to choose from their selection of lagers, ales, stouts and ciders while singing along with English tunes.

For guests who are in the mood for Mexican food, visit the Mexico Pavilion to take a trip to the San Angel Inn. Modeled after a 17th century hacienda at the base of a Mayan ruin, this restaurant serves traditional and contemporary Mexican fare and drinks. Choose from a good selection of entrees like Tacos de Ribeye or the Mahi Mahi grilled filet with bell peppers and Spanish onions. A selection of regional beers and cocktails are also available.

Teppan Edo, located in the Japan Pavilion, also offers unique dining opportunities for hungry guests. The restaurant features six dining rooms where chefs will engage in Teppan-yaki style cooking; a communal method of cooking where your food will be created right at your table. For adult guests, a selection of Japanese beer and wine is available, as well as the traditional sake.

If you want a bit of a sweet treat after dinner, stay in the Japan pavilion and visit the Kaki Gori Shaved Ice Stand. This treat is made from shaved ice and flavored syrup, and the cart offers several flavors including melon, tangerine, strawberry, cherry or “rainbow,” a combination of all of the flavors for those who can’t decide!

Finally, over in the Italy Pavilion, guests will find Via Napoli. This restaurant serves authentic Italian food including appetizers, entrees and desserts. Delight your senses with Sicilian eggplant with olives and raisins, Neapolitan pizzas and pastas, salads and more. For dessert, choose from gelato, tiramisu and other traditional Italian fare.
