A few weeks ago, we let you know about some of the new and returning D23 events that members could expect in 2013. This week, even more exciting events were added to the schedule, as D23 announced four new events that members all around the country are sure to enjoy.

Here’s the listing of these exciting events:

Disney Interactive Video Game Unveiling:

D23 members in California will be able to attend an exclusive event hosted by Disney Interactive this January. On Tuesday, January 15, a select number of D23 members will have the opportunity to attend an exclusive Disney product reveal, which will otherwise only be open to members of the press. The event, which will include an appearance by John Lasseter as the featured speaker, will center around the announcement of the new video game Disney Infinity, which is described as a “revolutionary new video game that immerses users in Disney magic in a whole new way.” Members in attendance will be able to be among the first members of the public to test out the incredible new game at a VIP event at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel following the official announcement, and will also be able to enjoy a lunch buffet. Registration for the free event (with a $5 ticket processing fee) will begin Thursday, January 3 at 10:00 AM PST. Peter Pan Panel & Movie Night and Cross-Country Screenings:

D23 members in the Los Angeles area will also get to enjoy a very special offer to attend a Peter Pan screening and panel discussion at the El Capitan Theater on January 11. To celebrate the 60th Anniversary release of Peter Pan on Blu-ray, the event will feature both a screening of the film and a special panel discussion. Moderated by noted film historian Leonard Maltin, the panel will include Kathryn Beaumont, the voice of Wendy; Ted Thomas, son of legendary Disney animator Frank Thomas; and Margaret Kerry, who was the live action reference model for Tinker Bell. D23 members will receive discounted VIP orchestra seating for $19 per ticket (a savings of $3 off full-price admission), a souvenir popcorn bucket, and a 20 oz. bottled drink. Tickets for the event will become available on Thursday, December 27 at 10:00 PST through the event page link here.

While only the El Capitan will feature the exclusive panel discussion, D23 members from all over the country will have the chance to see Peter Pan on the big screen this January. On January 24, D23 members will be able to attend free screenings of the film at movie theaters in Chicago, Orlando, New York City, Philadelphia, and San Francisco. Tickets, which will become available Monday, January 7 at 10:00 AM PST, will be available through the official event link here. However, registration for the event will be done through SeeItFirst.net, and it is advisable to register for an account on that website before the actual event registration begins.

D23′s Practically Perfect Night at Mary Poppins on Broadway:

New York City-area D23 members will also get a special event of their own this winter, as D23 has announced a new event focused on Disney’s hit Broadway show Mary Poppins. On Saturday, February 23, members will be able to purchase tickets ranging in price from $50-$75.00, which is as much as 50% off of full-price tickets to the show. However, the event also will give members the exclusive opportunity to take part in a private tour of the historic New Amsterdam Theatre, where Mary Poppins is currently running. The tour will give guests a closer look at the historic theatre, which was built in 1903 and only recently completely restored for The Lion King‘s debut at the theatre in 1997, as well as the Disney Theatrical prop room, which features set pieces, props, and costumes from various Disney shows. Tickets for this event will go on sale on Friday, January 4, 2013, and tickets will be available through the official event page here.
