Details Announced for 20th Annual Epcot Food & Wine Festival Including New Dishes and Special Events

f&w festival 2015This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and Disney is starting to release details about the festival.

New dishes coming to this year’s festival include a Grilled Sweet and Spicy Bush Berry Shrimp with Pineapple, Peppers, Onions, and Snap Peas at the Australia booth, a Seared Venison Loin with Wild Mushroom Ragout and Kumara Dumpling at the New Zealand booth, and Pepper Bacon Mac ‘n Cheese at the Farm Fresh booth.

The Scotland booth will be serving up a new drink, the Scottish Citrus Thistle. And fan favorite Candian Cheddar Cheese Soup is returning to the Canada booth.

A new premium event – the French Family Meal Traditions Lunch – is coming to the festival on Fridays and Sunday. And a new premium party, the Rockin’ Burger Block Party, is planned for select dates.

The Eat to the Beat Concerts will feature several new acts including Tiffany, Everclear, Maxi Priest, and Chaka Khan. Returning acts include Wilson Phillips, Smash Mouth, The Pointer Sisters, Jo Dee Messina, Boyz II Men, and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.

Guests can check out Culinary Demos and Special Events featuring Cat Cora, Robert Irvine, Jamie Deen, Rock Harper, Kenny Gilber, and Buddy (The Cake Boss) Valastro.

A new event aimed at kids (of all ages!) is coming to the Festival this year too with the debut of Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt. The hunt takes guests through World Showcase on a search for hidden statues of Remy. Guests will receive special maps and stickers for the scavenger hunt.

And, after missing last year, the Ocean Spray Cranberry Bog is returning to the Festival for 2015.

The 2015 Epcot Food & Wine Festival runs from September 25 through November 16.
