Disney Channel Cancels ‘Good Luck Charlie’: Series Ending After Fourth Season

Charlie’s luck has run out – Disney Channel is cancelling the hit series Good Luck Charlie after four seasons and 100 episodes.

The series stars Bridgit Mendler as Teddy Duncan and focuses on the everyday antics and adventures of the Duncan family. Other cast members include Jason Dolley (P.J.), Bradely Steven Perry (Gabe), Mia Talerico (Charlie), Leigh-Allyn Baker (Amy), and Erick Allen Kramer (Bob).

Good Luck Charlie debuted in 2010 and helped launch Mendler’s musical career. The show has been a hit since it debuted, and the December 2011 movie Good Luck Charlie, It’s Christmas was the most watched live-action cable movie of the year. Season four just started in April with an episode featuring a guest appearance from The Muppets.

Episodes of the show will continue to air throughout early 2014 and will remain on the daily schedule of the Disney Channel worldwide.
